SIM card+new iPhone
If I backup my iPhone 6s on the cloud and then get a new iPhone, 8 or 9, can I just put the old SIM card in the new phone?

Yes, that’s the easiest way to transfer your number to the new phone. However, you would have a problem transferring it to an iPhone 9, as Apple never made an iPhone 9.😏
