Error Code -2002F in Internet Recovery

Hi guys!

I've recently been tasked with rebooting a Mac Mini that I believe someone accidentally reformatted or something along those lines. It seems like the Mac Mini was not picking up the HDD or maybe there was nothing there for a startup.

To do this I tried going into internet recovery to redownload macOS but when I select my network it freezes and doesn't start automatically downloading.

Then after a while, it shows up with "support.apple.com/mac/startup" -2002F which when I Google that code I can't seem to find any help!

If anyone would have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate any help!

What year model is the Mac Mini?

Can't say for sure, but I believe that error comes from macOS Internet Recovery not being able to connect to your local Wi-Fi network.

Try moving the Mac Mini close to your Router, connect it dirrectly to Router using a Ethernet cable and then try macOS Internet Recovery using the Command (⌘)-R keys at startup.
