Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions.
If you want to, you can send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for change. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner. Pick the closest topic you can find.
As a consumer. I should be able to control what I want and how I want it. Not apple. Hiding it is a weak option at best. I will not be buying apple products anymore. It's like buying a car with the hood welded shut. You think in 2021 with tech companies under fire would allow the user more access to their own account.
