My Mac is connected to the internet, but my Mail says it is offline, so I am not receiving incoming mail and I cannot send mail.

My internet/email provider is not sure how to fix this. Any suggestions on how can I resolve this?

This message would typically indicate an issue with either the email provider's server, an Apple Mail configuration error, or a email credential error.

Have you tried using the Connection Doctor? If so, what were the results?
