If they were saved in iCloud:
If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support
If they were not saved in iCloud, but another internet account, you need to check with their support.
If it was saved only on iPhone, you would need to restore a backup from when the contacts were still there.
