Not receiving verification code

Hello,

i am currently using iphone 11. However, I am NOT able to receive texts for verifications/security codes from short SMS numbers. For example, when logging into any websites, they send me an SMS with a security number that I need to input into the websites to login. they said the code been send but i never received it.
