Removing Date/Time stamp from Videos!

Hi,

I recently bought a Canon HFS20 Vixia camcorder. I haven't had trouble before, but a video I shot recently has the time date stamp on it. When it shows up as thumbnail views, it doesn't have them, but when it's imported in to my computer, all the video has the time date stamp.

I have the show on-screen displays turned off. I know it is something can be switched in the camera, it wasn't doing it before.

Appreciate any and all help in this.

Thank you!

Todd

Hi

As far as I've got it only place to alter this is in Camera and how it playback.

There is no option in FinalCut Express or Pro that can alter this.

You can put an area over it - most often unsharp to hide it - or -
You can slightly enlarge picture so that this info is outside the picture

But neither of them are nice.

Cheque Your Camera handbook instead.
