Indeed! Which series do you have? Is your watch tracking location accurately off water? And my last question, how do you get to view a map like that?
This is what I captured on my S3 last August....it was pretty accurate. The dots indicate where it lost contact (due to breast stroke) and had to extrapolate the progress.
What kind of issue are you actually seeing? I have noticed that location is not tracked with breast stroke, but if you throw in some free style here and there, lifting your arms in the air, then those spots get usually tracked OK and your path starts showing up.
I can't show you as there seems no way to post a screenshot, but "Open Water Swim" shows a bizarre straight line no where near where I actually swam. I will try it again today using free style. Thanks for the advice.
In that workout, scroll down all the way and the Map should appear at the very end.
Most welcome. There is the image insertion button below which should do the trick .. if you still need it later
This image is totally bizarre as it shows me swimming in a straight line (on land, nowhere near where I started) etc.
Yes I think it's the syncing with Strava that's the problem (although it used to work). How do you find a map that shows Apple activities correctly?
Oh, wow, thank you! that worked! Annoying that Strava can't pick up that info properly any more but you can't have everything
