Another thing to try, which is a little more efficient, is to PROTECT your tracks by configuring the Track Header. Ctrl+click the somewhere in the Track Header to access this and enable PROTECT.

Hi there,
The easiest way to do this is in the Tracks area under the Functions Menu. Use SMPTE and it should yield favorable results.
Make sure the Marker is in "key focus" or selected.
