Air bubbles under screen

Does anyone have air bubbles under their screen ? If so, did apple repair them at full cost?

my watch is out of warranty but I decided to reach out and try my luck.

I hadn’t noticed these bubbles for a while but did as my warranty was ending(which was when covid happened and all malls were closed for months) so I couldn’t take it in.

took it to the Genius Bar recently and a specialist confirmed it’s under the screen and there’s no way this could be caused by the customer. I think it’s ridiculous I should be expected to pay $389 for the repair when a new watch is $529, not to mention, the damage is a manufacturers defect!!!!
