Hello I hope someone can help , I received a Royal Mail text saying I need to pay £1.99 for a parcel delivery . I’m not savvy on these things and I clicked on the link http://royal-mail-redelivery****. The page looked official at first glance and it asked me to enter my phone number and after I did is when the doubt set in so I stopped, but I had sent my number . Is my phone at risk now ..? The message came from a number +447541280***. I am expecting a parcel from outside the Uk

If all you entered was your phone number your phone is not at risk, except perhaps for an increase in spam calls. But the sender already had your phone number if you received a text at it.

You are safe. An iPhone cannot be hacked remotely without your cooperation.

Yes all I entered was my phone number , but I didn’t know if they can put something on your phone by clicking the link as I’m not very knowledgeable on this sort of thing.
