trackpad problems
My WIRED, USB, trackpad is suddenly, after 40 minutes of non-use, requiring a computer restart on iMac 2-17. Will a bluetooth one work?

as long as the iMac is Bluetooth 4.0 equipped and is running OS X v10.11 or later, then yes an Apple Magic Trackpad 2 will work. you may be able to find a cheaper one from a third party retailer, but i cannot speak as to compatibility with macs.
