When I open the camera I do not have or I cannot find the so-called scan button

“Scan button”? None exists in the Camera app.
What might you be trying to scan?
- A document? That’s done using the Notes app. How to scan documents on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
- A QR code? There is no button for that. Simply position the code in the viewfinder using the Camera app.
- Something else?
