Error on my iPhone 12 pro max: The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (2009). I'm tried rebooting several times and running update and restore but the error keeps coming back. iTunes version 12.11.0.26

I was trying to update to the new iOS when my device froze after reboot. Receiving the following error in iTunes when I connect my phone to my PC: The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (2009). I've tried rebooting several times and running update and restore but the error keeps coming back. iTunes version 12.11.0.26. My phone is an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

How do I fix my phone without loosing my data?
