I'm trying to download free items out of garageband and it says something about it can install with untitled because of a update but i updated it soon as i got the computer

The only Garageband obviously available is for Big Sur.
However, if you downloaded it before, it should still be in your purchases tab.

I cannot download Garagband and I have Mac OS Catalina. I bought a MacBook Pro 2012 so I could download Garageband and I find out that you need Big Sur OS That is stupid
Did you buy it from a private party?
If they had Garageband, they might be able to log into the app store and download it for you.
