Is there a solution to retrieve Word files from MacBook in another device using the same account?

My MacBook is destroyed, and I am now on my way to fix it but it will take a long time to repair. On the laptop there are very important files because I want to hand them over to the doctor at the university. Is there a solution to retrieve Word files from MacBook in another device using the same account on the previous laptop

It will depend on how the computer and application was configured. Should you have been using iCloud and configured MS Word to save to iCloud - Yes you can retrieve copies. Go www.icloud.com and Log into iCloud using the Same Apple ID and Password. In there should be copies of your your MS Word documents. Similar procedure if saving MS Word documents to MS One Drive.
