delete built-in apps

Hello, Apple claim i can delete the built-in apps, but i can't - there is no 'minus' icon nor my mac doesn't allow all those unnecessary apps to land in trash bin. Pls help me with real instructions how to get rid of the unwanted apps - thank you.
