iMessage text box disappears
Why does my IMessage text box disappear sometimes in mid conversation. I have to close the message and reopen to type. Mostly notice it on my newer I Pad

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. If you have issues with your Messages app and the text box disappearing when you try to type, there are a few steps you can take to resolve the problem.
First, force close the Messages app, then restart your iPad:
