Background blur Keynote

Hey, I am trying to design something for my presentation and I am trying to add background blue to a shape. Is there a way to do this in Keynote?

There is no blur effect in Keynote

You will need to use a third party image editor to do this (the built in apps, Apple Photos and Preview do not have a blur tool)

There are a number of dedicated blur apps on the Apple Store and there is GIMP, the free open source app which has a range of blur tools in Filters > Blur: https://www.gimp.org
