Whay is iPhone adding two files to the gallery for every picture? (1 file o.k. and 1 with a gray bar on bottom)

Hi.

Every time i took a picture, two files are added to the gallery, one "bad" having an ugly gray bar from the center to the bottom of the image, and one file perfectly ok!

So, with every import from my iPhone 11 Pro to the computer, i need to look for the bad ones and manually select each for deletion >: /

How can i prevent this?

Hi frikomx,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your iPhone camera takes duplicate photos and one appears to have a gray bar.

We recommend checking to see if HDR (high dynamic range) is enabled. If so, try disabling it and see if this still occurs. With this setting, your iPhone takes an HDR and non-HDR photo and blends them together. Check out Adjust HDR camera settings on iPhone.

However, the gray bar is still unexpected with HDR enabled. We recommend that you also restart your iPhone and remove any accessories such as a case, then test again.
