Apple Music wont work

Hi,

I subscribed to apple music last night, i had a 6 month code so i redeemed it and it said if you want to redeem it you need to change your store from Canada to USA so i did that, after that it said “Item not available” and it changed my store back to Canada. When i was streaming music then i get this “ This apple id is only valid for US” so to change my apple id’s country and region i’ll have to cancel my subscription but then becs this was a code I redeemed, if i cancel it, it will be wasted, please help me out with this

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand the Apple Music code you have is valid for the US only, and we'd like to help. If you're in Canada, you won't be able to use this code. You'll want to change your country back to Canada and you will need to cancel the subscription to do so.
