Export messages to PDF

If you have a Mac, then you can save conversations as PDF.

Remember you must be logged in with the same Apple ID as your iPhone and have access to your messages on your Mac.

1. Open Messages on your Mac

2. Select the conversation you want to save as a PDF

3. Select File in the status bar

4. Select Print

5. At the bottom, in the middle, there is a drop down menu. There you select "Save as PDF"

That was all.

You need to use a computer and a third party app.

Yes, just tap the clock in the status bar of your iPhone and it should go straight to the top.

There is no shortcut to get to the top that I know of. Start scrolling with a mouse or swiping with a trackpad. I text with my wife almost every single day when she is at work and it only took me a couple of minutes to swipe back to March 2020 on my Mac.

By the way, tapping at the top of the status bar in the messages app on an iPhone only moves up a few lines. You have to repeat that action over and over until you get to the part where you want to start from. It is still going to take a couple of minutes.
