iPhone 11 speakerphone cutting out

iPhone 11 Pro Max: When speaking to others with the speaker on, the person speaking to reports that I am breaking up or they can only hear every other word. Moving the phone or holding it closer sometimes helps. With the phone not being moved, changing where I am, sometimes help. This has been happening since I purchased the phone. I have tried taking off the case, restarting phone, reinstalling OS and changing rooms. The phone goes in and out on its own. This seems to be a problem with the phone.
