Boot Camp Assistant is stuck Partitioning disk...

After four hours, the Partitioning disk phase of Boot Camp simply hasn't moved. If I try to exit, I get a pop-up that says: Boot Camp Assistant cannot quit.

I'm kind of afraid to force kill it and trash my disk partitions.

Boot Camp Assistant stuck halfway while partitioning disk Hello together, for the last day and a half, I've been trying to install a Windows partition on my 2019 iMac 27" using Boot Camp Assistant, but it's always stuck while partitioning the disk. Abort the BC Assistant partitioning. We can clean up partitioning. I assume you have a Time Machine (or another tool) backup.
