Where are you getting this information from? Is it iCloud storage that you are talking about?
Open Settings ➔ General ➔ iPhone Storage : At the top, you will see the total available storage space that is used and the total storage free space.
If you were referring to 5GB of iCloud Storage, then everyone gets 5GB of storage space on iCloud. One generally fills that 5GB up very fast. When that happens then you can purchase extra storage space on iCloud to accommodate your needs.
