Has screen shot capabilities been eliminated by Apple?

If you have a phone without a home button the way to take a screen shot is to press the volume up and on/off buttons together.

There is also a way to do it through double or triple tapping the back of the phone. Go to Settings-Accessibility-Touch-Back Tap to set that up.
