Deleting desktop folder but not the contents
I accidentally transferred about 1600 documents into a folder on my desktop. How to I delete the folder but save the contents? I just don't want them on my desktop.

Hi PCSWV,
- Go to Finder, then open the location you actually want the data in.
- Go to Finder > File > New Finder Window > Go > Desktop, and find the location where the items currently are.
- Move the Finder windows so you can see both at the same time.
- On the folder with all the data currently, press Command + A, for select all.
- The drag the contents from the desktop folder to the new location.
