Invert text but not the photos
As partially sight white text on black is better for me but to achieve this inversion the photos are reversed too which is awful. How to I overcome this?

We'd like to help answer your question about invert options in your iPhone.
While it may not be possible to do exactly what you're asking, we'd recommend testing 'Smart Invert' if you haven't yet. You can find this option under Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size.
