My battery on my iPad air keeps draining even when I don’t use the iPad. At times it might show 50% and then it just dies.

Okay, then you need to get a new battery. Make arrangements with Apple for that service.

Contact Apple Support to have them run diagnostics on the battery. They can do that remotely. Use the Get Support link at the top of the page here to contact Apple.
I have already tried that and it did not help.
What did they tell you when they tested the battery?
