Apple Watch series 1 not pairing or updating onto my phone

I upgraded my watch and kept my old series 1 to give to my step daughter however it every time I pair the watch to the phone and then start the process of updating the watch it come up with an error to say no internet connectivity unable to update and takes me back to the having to restart the watch and goes in a loop.

Cant pair my watch I can't pair my series 2 Apple Watch to my phone. I haven't touched my watch in a couple years but I now need it for work. I keep trying to pair it to my iPhone. It successfully pairs to my phone but it says it needs an update, so I go to update the watch through the phone but it always denies it. Says it won't go through because I'm not connected to the internet but the issue is, is that I am connected to the internet and wifi. Then I cannot do anything. It says start over or try again, when I hit start over it completely unpairs the watch, and if I hit try again it immediately says not connected to the internet. I am at a lose, I've been trying for HOURS. Do I need to buy a new watch? Or how can I fix this, I can't even do anything in the Apple Watch app.

Apple Watch won’t pair My Apple Watch hasn’t been used for months now it’s series 4 and when I go to pair it on my phone it says it needs to update and when I try to update it it says it’s not connected to the internet and to try again and every time I press try again it takes me back and makes me start to pair over and over again is there a way to bypass this ?

Unable to set up Apple Watch series 3 Hi have bought a second hand Apple Watch Series 3 I am attempting to pair the watch to my iPhone 13. The watch is saying need updating gets to preparing and then disconnects. Watch is on charge and phone connected to Wi-Fi and next to watch. is anyone able to help this issue.
