Stolen iPhone XR disappeared from iCloud once link in the found sms was cliked.

I cannot suddenly find my stolen iPhone XR in my iCloud account. My wife got a sms that it was found, forwarded it to me, I clicked the link in the SMS from my older iPhone 6, prompted me to sign in, I signed into my iCloud, and saw the iPhone XR in the map - somewhere in Italy. Then it's gone from my iCloud!!! I signed out and signed in several times, XR is not there anymore in my iCloud. I checked from my Macbook, no luck. How come?!?! Can anyone explain and show me a way? The phone was stolen on 8 February from Dhaka Airport Railway station, Bangladesh.

Oh no!!!! That text was a scam. Basically you signed into a fake Apple page and gave them the information needed to remove the phone from your account so they could use it.

Your only option now is to make sure the Apple ID is secure by following the steps at https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204145
