Hi, I have an IPad Air 2 that was bought 2014. I would like to know what the maximum iOS goes upto for this device. It is already at 12.5.2. Thank you.

An iPad Air 2 can run iOS 14.4.2. I have one running it right now. The original iPad Air cannot be updated past iOS 12.5.2.
2014 was the year the iPad Air 2 was introduced, but the original iPad Air was sold alongside it in the Apple Store lineup until 2016. So if yours is saying it is up to date with 12.5.2 then you have an iPad Air and not an iPad Air 2.
