Photo Booth - Convert frame of a video to a still photo?
Is there a way for me to convert the first frame of a video I took using Photo Booth to a photo? I haven't found any guidance on this.

Please note that any time you do that, the image has to undergo a re-formatting from a video codec to an image format - that means it will not be as sharp and will lose (sometimes considerable) quality. I do not know if the latest iMovie version will allow it - older iterations did: if you have the movie in the timeline, select a frame and then see if it will allow you to export it as a .jpg.
Take a screenshot of it. Command-Shift-5.
a quick search pulled up this magazine-depth article with some possibilities, none of which is Photo booth:

Thanks for this Grant Bennet-Alder. Interesting article.
I did try it with iMovie before Iposted. It didn't seem to let me do it easily. Thanks, babowa.
