If I log into a website on my phone then use Mirroring with my Samsung TV to watch the program, am I using my cell phone data plan? My smart TV is connected to the internet WIFI but I am logging in to the internet site using my Safari on my phone?

Well TV and Phone are on same wifi network to mirror.
One of them needs to be on the internet. If you are streaming an Apple service then I guess its the phone that needs to connect.
I think I get it. keep my phone on wifi, use Safari to reach the on line site then mirror to my Samsung tv that is connected to the internet. did I get it right? sorry, I'm not much of a tech savvy 80 year old.
