Mac Mini M1 and SAMSUNG Odyssey G5 LC34G55TWWU: compatible?

Hi there, I just ordered a Mac Mini M1 and I wanted to order a SAMSUNG Odyssey G5 LC34G55TWWU

(curved ultrawide gaming monitor, 3.440 x 1.440 pixels resolution).

Will this monitor work with the Mac Mini M1? An experience out there?

Thanks!

Max

Hey Davey, no issues at all, it worked perfectly: the monitor was instantly recognized with the right resolution!

It looks like that display has HDMI and Display Port connections.

Which means that you would have two options.

  1. HDMI to HDMI using a premium certified HDMI cable.
  2. USB-C to Display Port using a USB-C to Display Port cable.
