Epson printer stopped working after Bug Sur upgrade

I have an Epson WF-2650, which worked perfectly with my desktop iMac until the Big Sur upgrade. When I realized this, I went to Epson website, which did show an alert that Epson printers were having problems with Big Sur, and offered some suggestions to remedy this issue. I did everything suggested by Epson. My printer still won't print. The problem is obviously Apple's and I would like to know what the plan is to rectify the issue. Also, if anyone has been able to get their printer to work, I'd love to know how!
