Just bought new iPad Air 4th Gen 2020 via EE in U.K. (9.7” x 7” )
Managed transfer from iPad 6th Gen. ok.
Old case too small for new iPad Air 4th Gen 2020 Model A2072
Cannot find new case for new iPad! All cases for iPad Air 4th Gen. showing 10.9” only, none for 9.7” x 7” Model A2072!
Cannot insure until case bought.
Have I been sold a dud here or am I missing something in Apple’s sizing? HELP!

As with all displays, the size is quoted for the diagonal measurement. For an iPad Air 4, that will indeed be 10.9”. The body size is 9.7x7, but this is not quoted when searching for a case. Simply search for iPad Air 4 case (it will be the same size as the 11” iPad Pro case).
Could you verify the model number of the iPad, as it doesn’t correspond with mine.
