Unpair failed on one device

I unpaired my watch and phone to be able to update but it unpaired on my phone but not my watch. What do I need to do ?

Update & pairing of Apple Watch I recently got a new phone and had to pair my watch. I forgot to unpair it before the switch. Now when I try to pair my watch it asks me to update and when I try to update It, it says half way through the update that it had to continue through the Apple Watch because it disconnected from the Wi-Fi even though it’s still connected to the Wi-Fi. Error "Unpaired was failed"with Apple Watch and iPhone 12 I was trying to unpair Apple watch from IPhone 12, during the unpair process, it throws an error "Unpaired was failed" But as per iPhone unpairing was completed and it is showing window to pair new watch. Iphone doesn't shows any pairing or relationship with that watch now. but as per Watch it is still paired with old iPhone 12. How can I unpair that watch? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

On a computer, go to iCloud.com and sign in with your Apple ID.

Go to Find Iphone.

Select All Devices, then click your Apple Watch.

Click Erase Apple Watch.

Select Next until the device is erased.

Click the remove button next to your Apple Watch.
