New phone and my apps won’t load

I had this problem. I got help from an Apple live chat.

Make sure your WiFi is on, tap and hold an app that is not loading. A drop down list will show, choose ‘prioritize download’ it should start downloading. Then it’s just like dominos, one after another will resume. If not repeat the tap, hold, prioritize on any that remain frozen.

It can take a few hours for the apps to download.

You can still use the device just not those downloading apps.

Got a new iPhone 12 yesterday! Apple store helped me transfer data! My apps are showing as loading on my 12 but it’s been 18 hours! ?????

Same problem here...did you get this resolved?

Worked very well, many thanks. Can now speed up the key apps. With the rest (I have many apps), still taking 24 hours + to download even with good internet speed.
