2 Phone rings for FaceTime

Both my work iPhone and my personal iPhone ring at the same time when someone FaceTimes me. Each phone has a different phone number and Apple ID that are not shared. The only thing that’s the same is my name and billing address. I have turned off all settings allowing calls on other devices. Call forwarding is also off.

mine phone is AT&T and the other has service through Verizon.

What’s even more weird is that last week someone tried to FaceTime me when I was near my mom and her phone started ringing too! She has a different number and Apple ID as well.

How do I stop this?

Hey jcoleslaw24,

It sounds like you're receiving FaceTime calls on multiple devices. We can understand wanting to get that resolved. We want to help.

We'd suggest going to Settings > FaceTime on your devices and checking the "You Can Be Reached By FaceTime At" section of that screen to see what options are listed there. That should help determine if an Apple ID or phone number is set the same on all devices.

Thanks!
