If you had the battery replaced by someone other than Apple or an authorized service provider, you have a problem...
You can try making an appointment at the Genius Bar of your local Apple Store and see if they will agree to install a genuine Apple battery. They may do so. It is completely within their rights to refuse to service a phone that has been tampered with.
