Behringer X Touch MINI and Garageband (MC Mode)

Can Garageband be configured to use a controller compliant with Mackie Control Mode (MC Mode)?

It doesn't seem as simple as 'plug and play' without some extra work on Big Sur and a new iMac.

Garageband & Interfaces I have a Behringer U phoria interface I hooked it up to my MacBook Air up until I did that I am using a M-Audio interface on my MacBook Pro. So this morning I plug in the USB for my M-Audio into MP.A window opens interface last used not available M-Audio is so I go ahead and set up a guitar track can see green in track but nor master the top one.So I close it and restart plug in all it shows is USB-CODEC that's the Berringer now it will not recognize M-Audio. I turned off GarageBand in iCloud nothing.Can anyone help?

Any way of using GarageBand on Catalina? I was very disappointed to find out that GarageBand is now only supported on big sur! :( is there any way at all I’m able to run it on Catalina does anyone know? I still can’t quite believe apple have done this - such a great piece of apple made software and they’ve made it unusable on so many machines :(

AFAIK, plug and play for controls is a feature of Garageband's smarter brother, Logic.

GB needs a driver to respond to a control surface.
