Email problem

I have a new Apple iphone SE . I havent been able to get my emails on it for a couple of months now. Does anyone know how to fix this problem please?

Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Hmm, just click on it. Then, it is going to ask for your Yahoo email address and password.

I tried your first suggestion there my friend but couldnt get passed choosing my email provider. When I clicked on "Yahoo" it said at the top of the page "api.login.yahoo.com".
