II. See if it Shown here:
macOS Mojave - Technical Specifications - Apple Support. If the model is not shown under Hardware Requirements of that link, then it is just not compatible with your Mac, therefore, it cannot be installed.

macOS Mojave - Technical Specifications - Apple Support. If the model is not shown under Hardware Requirements of that link, then it is just not compatible with your Mac, therefore, it cannot be installed.
Open App Store and search on macOS Mojave. And click Get beside the name of macOS Mojave.
If still cannot, Can you Identify your MacBook Air model?

The App Store Updates page only informs you of updates available for the OS you are running.
Installing a newer OS is called an upgrade.
Which OS you can upgrade to will be governed by which model and year your mac is.
Click on the top left of your screen click on About This Mac to find out the year of your mac.

Go to Check Compatibility to see if your mac qualifies for the OS upgrade you want.
Then go to the Download OS section and click on the OS you want to install.
Before upgrading make a full back up of your Mac.
Check that third party apps you use have updates available for the new OS.
Check that your printers/ scanners etc have updated drivers and software available for the new OS.
Connect your mac to your router via cable rather than rely on WiFi.
Do not use your mac while it is downloading
and do not use any other devices that share the same internet connection.
If the App Store says ‘Open’ then it is detecting a previous download of the install app
go to the Applications folder locate Install macOS ******.app.
Move it to the Trash, empty the Trash.
Restart, click on the link again, the App Store should say ‘Get' or 'Download'.

I see your device is: MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
Is Yosemite the Current Install?
If macOS10.10 is the currently-installed macOS, and you want to go to macOS10.14 Mojave, then you need to upgrade to macOS 10.13 High Sierra first. Once High Sierra is installed, proceed from there with an upgrade to Mojave. Get the installers here: How to get old versions of macOS - Apple Support
Back Up First:
Start by Creating a Time Machine Backupof my Mac. That way I could be assured that Incan recover my Mac, should I need the App back or if anything goes wrong due to the removal. So, Create a Time Machine backup of your Mac, so that you can have something to restore your Mac from, should anything go wrong with the reinstall.
Very confusing it says it was posted in May but here it says it's posted in March. I have four monitors three at work now that I downloaded this each monitor works individually but when you hook them all up at same time one does not work.
Try installing this in Safe Mode, but not downloading using Firefox...
