How to get old versions of macOS. You will need to determine up to what version of macOS this computer qualifies for.

All links in next pages should be done in Safari as Others may not work.

Special attention if moving up to Catalina - ONLY 64 bit applications, extensions and drivers are supported. Anything 32 bit will NOT WORK and there is not workaround.

Do a Time Machine Backup Before attempting any upgrade. Check with Application Developers for updates / upgrades for their applications also Before attempting the upgrade to Catalina.

Point # 1 - Are there pre-existing Unresolved Software Issues. They should be resolved prior to upgrading - many will / may carryover to Big Sur making the system unstable / unusable.

Point # 2 - Are there any AntiVirus, Disk Cleaner, Optimizers, Defrag, VPNs etc installed which should be removed as per Developers Instructions. They are useless, unneeded, cause havoc and interfere with the normal operation of the OS
