Apple Activity sharing showing email instead of name

My friend is trying to share her activity with me wit her apple watch and it is showing up as her email address instead of her name. Her iphone name and apple watch name show her name, as well as her apple TV. How can we fix this issue? Both her iphone and watch are on the latest updates as well.
