iPhone backup reverts to iCloud backup instead of the Mac

I have read the other posts on this topic and it seems to apply to iPod configurations earlier than the current one since I cannot find the same settings.

I have change the settings from iCloud back up to the iMac several times. And each time I reconnect the iPhone it reverts to iCloud back up. We are using Big Sur 11.2.3 and iPhone 14..4.2

Another interesting note is that her iPhone does not show in the Finder when it is connected. Instead, I need to open the Music app and then click the synchronization information in the upper right corner in order for the synchronization window to show. Odd. By the way, her music is not stored on iCloud.

It seems to be something new as now my iPhone shows up in both Music (for syncing to it) and the Finder.

I backup to the mini using Wi-Fi.
