Will an Apple Watch Series 6 work with an iPad or my Mac

I am planning on buying an Apple Watch Series 6, but as per many places I have read on the internet, it won't work with an android phone (I have an S10 Plus), and I don't have any intention of upgrading my phone, and don't want the Samsung Gear. So will my Apple Watch pair with my iPad mini 5 or my MacBook Pro 2015 (If I remember correctly, might be 2014, lol) somehow, or any work around to make it work with my Android phone somehow, I have never been inclined towards buying iPhones as such.

An apple watch is an accessory of the iphone and will not work with anything else but an iphone.

There is one exception that it will connect to an ipad for fitness+ only,it will not pair with an ipad so cannot be used for anything else.

Uff, I really wanted the ECG thing lol, any other alternatives other than the Samsung gear, that works with my Android phone

Fitbit also has the ECG feature in select watches, I didn't knew, thanks for the suggestion! I changed my mind, I am getting a Fitbit Versa 3, tysm
