Hi claudette144,

We understand you're unable to activate an iPhone. We're happy to help.

To start, we'd suggest providing more specific detail on the issue. What is happening when you try to activate the device? Are you getting some sort of error message on it? If so, what does it say? Is it showing your carrier name and bars of service at the top? Or do you see something like "Searching" or "No Service"?

Answers to questions like these will help give the community a better idea of what you're seeing so members can provide more relevant responses.

In the meantime, here's some basic steps for activation issues that may be helpful: If you can't activate your iPhone

We look forward to your response. Cheers!

Hi claudette144,

Thanks for the follow up!

So if the device currently shows "No Service", that would be why you're unable to activate it. An iPhone needs to have active cellular service on it in order to activate it. If you currently have a SIM card with an active cellular plan inside the device and it is still showing "No Service", you'd want to contact your wireless carrier for assistance.

We hope this helps. Take care!
