Red Light sensor isn’t turning or flashing.

Ever since I got my iPhone 11 I transferred my data from my iPhone 7 and I was watching videos about my new phone and i noticed that their phone had a red light that kept flashing beside their front camera. And I checked if my had it but it DOES NOT! I don’t know why and it’s a brand new phone. Any tips or help on how to get it to work or turn on??

What you were seeing was the infrared sensor of the subject iPhone doing its work. The infrared system manages the brightness and color balance of the subject image without interfering with that image. The human eye can't detect this light, but the video camera that made the tutorial you were watching could detect it and embedded it in the video as a visible red light. That is what you were seeing.
